For the past year, women nonprofit CEOs in Israel have been holding up and strengthening civil society, advocating for international recognition of sexual crimes, and supporting women whose access to health care and family planning are primary concerns.
As we mark one year since October 7th, we invite you to join us on Zoom for a special Crown JEWEL Conversation featuring three of our Collective Cohort 5 members in Israel who will share how this year changed their lives, how they pivoted to meet the moment of war and immense need, and where we go from here.
Elluminate’s President Stephanie Garry will be joined by:
- Rina Ayalin-Gorelik, Executive Director, Association of Ethiopian Jews. Rina confronts discrimination, and advocates for social change, equal opportunities, racial equality, civil and human rights, improved perceptions, and better policies on behalf of Ethiopian Israelis.
- Dina Shalev, Executive Director, Lada’at – Choose Well. Dina promotes healthy sexuality and sexual health, working to ensure that all individuals have full access to information and are supported in making the right choices for themselves regarding their sexual and reproductive health.
- Orit Sulitzeanu, Executive Director, The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel. Orit combats sexual violence by widening and improving the services available to victims, initiating legislation to broaden the rights of victims, creating a body of knowledge, and raising awareness. Orit and ARCCI have been vocal on the sexual assaults perpetrated by Hamas on October 7th.
