Tamar Manasseh, mother of two founded MASK – Mothers and Men Against Senseless Killings in 2015, following the shooting death of Lucille Barnes on the south side of Chicago. Tamar, who received her rabbinical training from the Israelite Academy, which was established by the International Israelite Board of Rabbis, has built MASK by putting eyes on the streets with the goal of interrupting violence and crime while teaching children to grow up as friends rather than enemies.
Join us on April 7th from 12-1 pm ET for a conversation between Tamar and JWFNY President Rachel Weinstein. Registrants will receive a free link to view They Ain’t Ready for Me, a feature-length documentary about Tamar, prior to the Crown JEWEL Conversation.
