Q: How can we curb the spread of religious extremism in Israel?
A: Mobilize the Orthodox women!
Shoshanna Keats Jaskoll believes religious women are the key to making lasting change in the Israeli Orthodox Jewish community. A self-proclaimed “warrior with a pen,” Shoshanna is the Co-Founder and Director of Chochmat Nashim, where she writes, speaks, and advocates for changing policy and communal behavior for a healthier, more balanced society. Shoshanna’s commitment to amplifying the voices of religious women, who so often are silenced, was solidified after witnessing firsthand the damaging effects extremism has on her community.
