The Collective

Elluminate is building a global Jewish women’s leadership network that elevates and connects Jewish feminist leaders working for equity and social  justice to re-envision a world through a gender lens and Jewish values and to achieve their individual and collective goals. 

The Collective, our signature program, strengthens the skills and connections of Jewish entrepreneurial women nonprofit executives working for social change. The Collective provides a platform for its members to have their work amplified; increase their visibility; grow their professional skills and networks; and interact with feminist philanthropists. 

Members of The Collective are extraordinary women who lead organizations using their Jewish values and a gender lens to tackle intractable problems inside the Jewish community and in the US, Israel, and around the globe.

Two-Year Leadership Advancement Program

The Collective is a cohort based program that focuses on Jewish values, non-profit management, feminist leadership principles, social change, and leading with moral courage. Participants will:

• Enhance her capacity to work toward specific social justice goals, 
• Strengthen ability to navigate challenges; 
• Share with and learn from others doing analogous work; 
• Build a larger network for  collaboration on a range of critical issues in the broader communities in which Elluminate operates. 
• Participate in an active, ongoing community where visionary entrepreneurs and leaders collaborate and offer each other strategic support and advice.
• Develop peer to peer relationships and connect with lay leaders who have similar interests. 

Those selected receive grant funding for their organization, participate in cohort meetings held on Zoom, and attend several in-person retreats. 

Elluminate strives to build cohorts that reflect the full diversity of Jewish life, including a variety of experience, age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability status, family status, and any other identity.

Global Jewish Women’s Leadership Network 

The  global Jewish women leadership network is made up of former and current Collective members to build relationships, partnerships and synergies.
