Making Change From the Kitchen
Is a woman’s place in the kitchen? This outdated and politically incorrect stereotype should be looked at again. While some might be offended at the suggestion that women should be cooking and caring for those close to her, giving a woman these roles is also a true testament to how important these tasks can be. It is women who are the builders of community and who have the ability to get their families and/or their peers around the table together. Because of this, it is often women who break down barriers and create innovative solutions to problems facing them and their communities. Read about the women social entrepreneurs in Israel that are doing just that.
