The Convening provides Jewish philanthropists and social entrepreneurs and leaders with an annual opportunity to network, learn, and celebrate our work together.

We’ll hear from the visionary social entrepreneurs we support – all 20 of them – as well as some really dynamic speakers such as:

• New York Representative Nita Lowey, Arizona State Representative Alma Hernández (the first Mexican-American Jew to win an elected position in American history!), election expert Dr. Anne Moses; and Ruth Messinger.
• Fashion designer and supporter of women entrepreneurs Rebecca Minkoff;
• Rabbi Angela Buchdahl;
• Feminist philanthropists Sally Gottesman, Alisa Doctoroff, and Paula Pretlow;
• Activist/mom/comedian Rain Pryor;
• Spoken word artist Vanessa Hidary (the Hebrew Mamita);

We’ll talk about the 2020 elections; the intersectionality of gender, race, feminism, and queerness; empowering women leaders in Israel; food insecurity; women’s rights as human rights; entrepreneurship; and more.
