New York, November 19, 2025 – Elluminate commends the U.S. House and Senate for the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R. 4405).
“We applaud the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act and the tireless efforts of the survivors and anti-human trafficking advocates,” said Elluminate CEO Melanie Gorelick. “This bill is an example of the power of women leaders and their work for justice. We commend the advocates who lifted up the voices of the survivors and hope that this effort brings them some closure and peace. It is time to hold the perpetrators of sex trafficking accountable.”
Since 2019, Elluminate has supported women leaders founding and running organizations working to end human trafficking, to support victims and survivors, and to protect our children. These organizations include World Without Exploitation, which has been instrumental in elevating the voices and traumatic stories of survivors of the Epstein case, and advancing public, judicial and legislative awareness and action.
Other organizations supported by Elluminate include Protect All Chldren from Trafficking (PACT), Free to Thrive and ATZUM (in Israel), and others focused on eradicating domestic violence, rape and assisting with related trauma.
This year, human trafficking has dominated headlines — from the Epstein papers to the Diddy trial — exposing the urgent need for justice and reform. Members of the Elluminate Collective, all nonprofit CEOs, are at the forefront: amplifying survivors’ voices, protecting children, and driving legal and policy change.
The Elluminate Convening 2025 on November 20 is highlighting this issue in a panel discussion — Jewish Women Leading the Fight Against Human Trafficking. The panel features Susan Stern, Board Chair, Jewish Democratic Council of America, who represented the Obama administration on the interfaith council that led efforts making trafficking a national concern; Moria Rodal Silfen, CEO, ATZUM – Task Force on Human Trafficking and Prostitution; Lauren Hersh, National Director, World Without Exploitation; and Lori Cohen, CEO, PACT – Protect All Children from Trafficking.
Elluminate is a feminist women’s organization empowering women leaders and philanthropists working for equity and social change. Elluminate’s signature program, The Collective, trains, supports, and elevates Jewish women nonprofit CEOs working on today’s most emergent issues using a gender lens in the US, Israel and elsewhere around the world. As only 2% of charitable dollars go to programs focused on women and girls, Elluminate prioritizes supporting women leaders and calls on others to join them.
