Avital Blonder

Avital Blonder, CEO & Founder of Jindas – Social Urban Vitalization, is a dynamic and motivated entrepreneur with a passion for social change and a proven record of social impact. She specializes in generating and building relationships, managing vast scale projects from concept to completion, and designing strategies leading to success. Avital is skilled in innovative thinking, facilitative leadership, operating under uncertainty and implementing groundbreaking models in the service of social mobility. With over 10 years of experience in management, she focuses on creating interdisciplinary models for building communities.

Born in Jerusalem, Avital was active in the Israeli youth movement and served in the education corps of the Israeli army, working primarily with soldiers from low-income backgrounds. She is an active alumna of the Maoz fellowship program, a former fellow at Kolot, which focuses on Jewish studies, social justice and ethics, and a current fellow of the Encounter Program that focuses on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. She holds a BA in Psychology and a Mandel Social Leadership MBA from Ben Gurion University. Before founding Jindas, Avital established and managed the student branches of Pa’amonim, an organization that provides financial counseling to Israeli families in crisis, and founded Derech Lod, an initiative that brings young leaders and talented professionals to live, work and volunteer in the city of Lod. Today Avital leads a 15-person organization that spearheads multi sector partnerships to advance social mobility and urban renewal among Israel’s most marginalized communities.
