Annual Luncheon 2026 Honoree

Andrea Baumann Lustig

Mission-Driven Philanthropist and Strategic Business Leader
Managing Partner, Fischer Stralem Advisors

Andrea’s journey of giving back began in sixth grade, when she organized her school’s first newspaper recycling program. That simple initiative — and the sense of satisfaction it sparked — became the foundation for a lifetime of service. From that moment on, Andrea understood that meaningful change starts with one person deciding to act.

As President of ARIF (Association pour le Rétablissement des Institutions et Oeuvres Israélites en France, www.arifusa.org), Andrea advances a mission born in 1943 — to restore and sustain Jewish life in France. Under her guidance, ARIF supports synagogues, schools, libraries, museums, and social-service organizations while addressing urgent needs like security for Jewish institutions. Her work helps ensure that resilience and continuity remain cornerstones of Jewish life.

Whether it is helping to further Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s mission to transform science and medicine through compassionate care and groundbreaking research, advance the Weizmann Institute’s commitment to curiosity-driven discoveries that benefit humanity, or support UJA’s goal to care for Jews everywhere and strengthen Jewish life for future generations, Andrea brings her energy and insight to each cause. She serves on advisory boards at these institutions — and at Princeton University, Yale’s International Center for Finance, and Park Avenue Synagogue, where she chaired its record-breaking 2023 capital campaign — because she views initiative as a responsibility: to advocate for the vulnerable, nurture continuity, and help ensure that resilience translates into real impact. Each role reflects her conviction that leadership is most meaningful when it serves others.

Professionally, Andrea is a Managing Partner of Fischer Stralem Advisors and recognized as a Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisor—Best in State (2022–2026*). She helps families create purpose-driven legacies aligned with their values, a passion rooted in her DNA. She is the sixth generation in her family to lead a wealth management practice, tracing back to 1810 when her great-great-great-grandfather founded Banque Levy in France. She often marvels at the irony that he could never have imagined a great-great-great-granddaughter continuing in his footsteps centuries later — yet in ways he could not foresee, Andrea embraces the legacy he began and honors the generations whose resilience and values shaped her path. Her new book, Legacy on the Line (Wiley), shares insights on how resilient families can overcome blind spots to grow and transfer wealth with intention.

Married, proud mother of three daughters and grandmother to three, Andrea embodies Elluminate’s mission: visionary women’s leadership that serves the present and inspires future generations. From a classroom recycling bin to global philanthropy, Andrea’s life proves that giving back is not a moment — it’s a way of life, and that initiative and responsibility are not abstract ideals — they are lived values that shape communities and families for generations.
